In the process of looking for a job, my contract at Planet Fallout has been renewed and I've become the Louisville Video Game Examiner.
The former means a solid year of my car payment with some very enjoyable work and the latter means I have to somehow learn a bit about the Louisville gaming scene. You'd think after living in the area all these years I would have picked ...

After taking stock of my backlog, I decided that I needed to start cutting it down. Chrono Trigger, I'm proud to say, is now complete and put away. I completed all of the extra content barring the new dungeons and monster arena. From what I've seen of the arena, it's pretty much useless anyway.
I miss that kind of RPG. It reminded me of why I didn't care for ...

After nearly a year of not writing this at all, news! My piece "The Zenith of the Swing" has been accepted to the IUS Review 2009 which will come out at some point in February 2010.
Also, a revised version of "To Catch the Rain" has won First Prize in Short Fiction for the IUS Writing Competition which I entered this past May. As soon as anything is up ...

As the title states, I've taken another look at an older story I wrote for Jackman's W203 Creative Writing class years ago and made some much needed revisions. I've kept both the older version and the newer version listed in my Works, so the changes should be pretty evident.
I'm updating the site a little here and there. Aesthetically, mostly, but stuff that should have been done a long ...

So, I know. It's been a long time since I updated. Well, a lot's happened. Foundling is being published in the IU Southeast Review this January WITH myself reciting it on a CD. I'm excited. Also, I got a job working as a Site Manager for Rise of the Argonauts Vault and am now working as a freelance writer for MMORPG.com doing reviews. I swear I'll update more ...

Some minor updates to the site have gone in. I added a Filmography portion to my Works(formerly Bibliography) tab as well as put the pages up for a couple other stories.
Sadly, my group did not win the Insomnia Film Festival, but I still had a blast with it. Feel free to take a look and comment, as it's linked under Works. It was my first film, and I ...

Slowly but surely I'm working on the site. Still some minor aesthetic things to sort out and some links to fix, but it's mostly operational.
I've been a bit slack this week due to my shift change at work, but it also means that I will almost absolutely have the time for my project in the next weeks. Midnight to noon shifts are basically dead, they tell me.
Anyway, I ...

Well, after quite a few problems concerning team members, casting and technical difficulties, our Insomnia film has been submitted.
I'd like to thank Ben Corwin, Josh Williams and Klein Maetschke for the amazing weekend and fantastic work.
Thanks to Brianne Beck and Seth Parker, our actors, for putting up with my last-minute script changes. And to Josh Spicer as well for being Robin Darjeeling.
I'll post a link as soon as ...

Well, I made a promise to myself when I purchased this website that I wouldn't let a week pass without writing something new. So, this is more of a draft than a real short story, but I think people will forgive me. None of this is meant to be published, I just want to become a better writer and see what people think more than anything. The things ...

Over the next week, I will be adding more content. Most of this is going to be old content, as everything before this was. However, I will make sure to note what is new and what is not, and what is merely a different version of another. Happiness is writing for nobody but yourself.
