My name is James Bishop. I’m a freelance writer with a BA in English from Indiana University. I have my eyes on game design but who knows, life’s funny sometimes. We all just float around until we stick and I’m just beginning to float.
This site was originally conceived as a somewhat stable platform for me to reproduce any and all fictional tales I had on my mind. Over time, it was largely ignored but never entirely forgotten. Such is the way of things. I’ve been known to bite off a bit more than I can chew.
As my freelance games journalism has become more and more a part of my life, I’ve noticed that a number of my peers keep personal blogs to talk about issues with a more candid and personal tone. It’s not as if they couldn’t write for another publication but these blogs allow them to work on things at their own pace and set their own agenda. I like that.
That’s why the focus of this site is changing. Has changed. From here on out, this site is a place for all my thoughts on gaming.
